The special effects and scenes were definitely a big production in 1997, but how can they be full of the evil taste of various B-level movies? Plasma and broken corpses are astoundingly cult, and it can be subtitled "One Hundred Ways to Kill Humans by Zerg". The main theme is quite annoying, but it is more of a mockery of the militarism and heroism of the US imperialism. After reading and checking the director, no wonder, it has a taste with "Robocop". "Edge of Tomorrow" also made a lot of reference to this film

[Ace is having difficulty with throwing knives]
Ace Levy: Sir, I don't understand. Who needs a knife in a nuke fight anyway? All you gotta do is push a button, sir.
Career Sergeant Zim: Cease fire. Put your hand on that wall trooper. PUT YOUR HAND ON THAT WALL!
[Zim throws a knife and hits Ace's hand pinning it to the wall]
Career Sergeant Zim: The enemy can not push a button... if you disable his hand. Medic!

Ace Levy: Don't worry, you still got me to kick around.
