Poorly adapted

Such beautiful novels and adapted movies are a bit disappointing. The male protagonist in my imagination is a bit suspicious and melancholic in his eyes, with a bit of unconfident grievance (or aggrieved), and compromised because of too deep love, even if it is replaced by another Geki. Those eyes are like Adrian who plays the writer in "King Kong". The wife in the movie is too strong and suitable to be an OL, rather than a nightmare ghost sister and the wife of a doctor who raises children at home.

In the play, the daughter Ai Li is not so cute. The novel repeatedly depicts Ai Li taking a photo with her younger brother to highlight the shock that the loss of family members brought to Ai Li, unable to face and accept the facts. This scene also stimulates Louis all the time. ; The quarrel with his father-in-law made him feel that life is already terrible, and he wants to escape this reality. All of this eventually caused him to lose his mind and risk resurrecting Geki, but his feelings could not be vented and eventually turned into a twisted love. These rich emotional movies can't be expressed at all.

But I thank the director for letting the youngest son Geki keep his beautiful appearance when he returns. Probably because in American film and television, children are always the spokespersons of truth, kindness and beauty. Keeping Gaiji's beautiful image also keeps me from hurting too much. Really restored as described in the novel "His face was not black but dirty, smeared with blood. And it was swollen, as if he had been terribly hurt and then put back together again by crude, uncaring hands", I also want heartbroken.
