It is start from a dog,at the beginning ,Melvin Udall(played by Jack Nicholson)didn't like the dog at all,even throw the dog from the chute!So because of his bad temper and personality,he didn't get well with his neighbour---the dog's host---a painter.Basically,Mr Udall is a strange ,mean writer.Everyday he do the same things,repeat the words,go to the same restraunt,in the same seat,and order the same mune,want the same waitress to serve him.So ,just weird people,gradually become,when his neighbour was hospitalized,he was forced to become the dog sitter.Interestly,the dog like him very much,was quietly,and lovely .Meantime,Mr Udall know that he need to devote then other people will like him,therefore he learn to help the waitress'sicken son.
Gradually, he also fall in love with the waitress, the famous word said: You make me want to be a better man. How sweet it is!
From the whole story, we can see it is a comic love story, and the player perform it very good ,so the actor and actress also won the academy award in 1997.We can see it is successful.
Later ,from find some information on the internet,I hear about the actor also play another famous film ,called"One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest ",i was a little thrilling,it is him!
In all ,i think it is a good film.
