Self-righteous human beings, please be in awe of both "nature" and "supernatural".

This is a film in which faithful Christians exhort humanity to "don't get smart and kill yourself."

Although at first glance,
"religion" is counterproductive here?

————————————————————————————
Film appeal: admonish modern people who
do not respect nature and develop "high-end technology" to destroy the ecology——
Both "natural" and "unnatural" must be held in awe.
—————————————————————————————

Example——

1. [The last woman who was rescued]
believed in God,
so she had the courage to go out first.
Invite everyone to go together,
no one will answer.

"Selfless and fearless" is the religious spirit that the film respects,
so "the chance of survival" is reasonably arranged for her.
At the end of the movie, among the people rescued by the army, she is there, as well as her children.

When she went out from the supermarket alone, she said to everyone:
"You will all go to hell." 'The

film is the persuasion of the "elite" and "the ignorant" from a religious point of view.

2. [Elite class] This
film focuses on the target of whipping.

Just believe in yourself.
Like Qi Tongwei in "The Name of the People",
he felt: "No one in this world can judge me."

At the end of the movie, it was definitely a stroke of genius. He
killed the male protagonist of four companions, including his own child. The
monster did not take him away, but the fog dissipated, and the living were saved.
Even if one tries to overcome obstacles, one cannot escape the will of God.

The elite class of the film also includes the "invisible protagonist" of the film -
"challenging the bottom line of the world in the name of scientific research", destroying nature, and not afraid of ghosts and gods. The scientific research team (including the interest groups behind it).
You keep poking at the bottom line of God, and the
dog jumps over the wall when you are in a hurry.
Who will you punish if you don't punish you?

Suicide.

3. [The Christian Mad Wife Who Was Shot Down in the Supermarket]
is an extreme type of "semi-pseudo-believer" opposed by the author.

In the end she was crushed.
This is the punishment for extreme behavior under fear - the "evil of lust" prevails over belief.

Someone asked: "Why did the big bugs stop on her but didn't attack it?"
Many people said that it was because the big bugs "disdain" to eat her.
Also makes sense.
But if you ask my opinion...
remember before she went crazy?
Squatting in the toilet crying and talking to God.
Therefore, she is half black and half white, and she is a wavering player.

——The above

are not my values,
but I think the author's
arrogance and greed have made us make a test of the world, and
judgment and punishment will happen beyond our expectations.
The movie revolves around the bible and the ethereal chant that this crazy woman reads over and over again.
Who says that what she says when she is not crazy is all wrong.
"Heaven" must do something.

The male protagonist has a sparkling humanity,
which is nothing but "human".
Here comes the judgement day.

We are no longer at the top of the food chain in The Mist, and after watching the movie, we better stop thinking that way.

The Mist quotes

  • Wayne Jessup: I heard stuff.

    Mrs. Carmody: Stuff...

Wayne Jessup: Yeah, we all heard stuff! Like uh, how they... they thought that there were other dimensions. You know, other... other worlds all around us, and how they wanted to try to make a window, you know, so they can look through and see what's on the other side.

Mrs. Carmody: Well maybe your window turned out to be a door. Isn't it?

Wayne Jessup: Not my door! It's the scientists!

Mrs. Carmody: [sarcastically] Oh, the scientists.

Wayne Jessup: Yes, the scientists! They must've ripped a hole through by accident. That's how their world keeps on spilling through into ours. That's what Donaldson was saying right before he killed himself. I didn't understand half of it.

  • Dan Miller: [after the car runs out of gas] Well, we gave it a good shot. Nobody can say we didn't.
