In the depths of despair, a beautiful surprise or a cruel prank?

I just watched this film, and I don't feel very shocked. There are many similar films in the United States. Ignorant and selfish human beings commit crimes, but they invite disasters and set themselves on fire. In the chaos, there will naturally be several types of people. People who immediately panic and don't know what to do, people who have their own set of ideas to confuse others, and lead everyone to try to break through the hero-type people who are unknown.

We will never know what the ending will be until the last moment, but what remains unchanged is the greatness of the family. In the end, the woman who started to bravely walk out of the supermarket alone to look for her child has corrected this point again.

When everyone is desperate, should they give up, or continue, will the result be beautiful, or will you feel like you want to cry without tears? Give up, when should you give up, will you regret giving up? It's your own decision. . . How to choose? Do you blame yourself when you see good results from other people's perseverance? Can you make your choice all over again?

When you feel hopeless, please hold on again, hold on again, maybe there will be a different ending.

The Mist quotes

  • Wayne Jessup: I heard stuff.

    Mrs. Carmody: Stuff...

Wayne Jessup: Yeah, we all heard stuff! Like uh, how they... they thought that there were other dimensions. You know, other... other worlds all around us, and how they wanted to try to make a window, you know, so they can look through and see what's on the other side.

Mrs. Carmody: Well maybe your window turned out to be a door. Isn't it?

Wayne Jessup: Not my door! It's the scientists!

Mrs. Carmody: [sarcastically] Oh, the scientists.

Wayne Jessup: Yes, the scientists! They must've ripped a hole through by accident. That's how their world keeps on spilling through into ours. That's what Donaldson was saying right before he killed himself. I didn't understand half of it.

  • Dan Miller: [after the car runs out of gas] Well, we gave it a good shot. Nobody can say we didn't.
