A return to classic horror

3 and a half stars:

Even if this kind of film is not innovative, there will always be various shortcomings. But after all, it's just to be frightened, and you can't ask for too much. In addition, I like such horror films, but the 2011 works have returned to tradition. There is no bloody violence, no heavy tastes, the camera always cuts off at just the right time, leaving the horror to the imagination. The sense of horror almost entirely comes from the scheduling of the lens, and it can definitely be included in the photography class of this type of film.

What you can't see is always scarier than what you can see.

I like to divide horror movie lovers into psychological horror lovers and heavy mouth lovers.

If it's the former, then you can look forward to this movie.

If it's the latter, don't watch it. In the film, there is no death coming, no chainsaw horror, no human centipede...

Yes, the horrors defined by the two types of people are completely different. If it's the former, don't be fooled by the latter type of audience saying that it is not scary, and miss this rare traditional work.

  • Dr. Sercarz: [about Dalton] There is no brain damage that we've detected. Technically, yes, he's in a coma. He doesn't react to stimuli. He has no sleep-wake cycle. But there's no brain trauma or infection. His scans are all normal. To be honest, I've never seen anything like it.
