The DC Universe is pretty fun

As a viewer who has watched dozens of Marvel Universe movies, I agree with this one. This is a story about the growth of a teenager. It's just that I don't really understand why the old wizard chose Billy. He didn't test Billy's ability to withstand temptation, so he gave him the power, but after getting the magic eye at the end of the film, Billy kept staring at it , pretending to be tempted, but he wasn't actually being tempted when he was joking. Although this also shows that the old wizard has chosen the right person, I still think that when you gain power, you should test it.

The two Easter eggs at the end of the credits are very funny. One is that Billy found Superman when Fred was having lunch. Another Easter egg made fun of Aquaman by the way. Fred wanted to develop Billy's ability to communicate with the aquarium. It seems that Fred is really a super fan of DC superheroes.

I think the most touching thing about this film is the relationship between Fred, the kid, and Billy. Fred was actually a child who lacked self-confidence, so he hoped to have superpowers, and he hoped that others would pay attention to him, so when Billy first came to their family, Fred was like a chatter and told Billy a lot of stories, such as Superman Bullets, and several jokes. Because of this, he was the first child in the foster home to get close to the somewhat withdrawn Billy, who was the first to find Fred when Billy became Shazam. The latter two also had some small episodes, but in the end they became the closest brothers. Billy has also truly embraced foster care, accepting other siblings. This is a story about the friendship and affection between children, very warm and funny. Superhero movies don't have to have a grand universe, and I think it's a good theme.

To talk about the shortcomings of this film, I think that one is that the foreshadowing is a bit dull, and the other is that the interaction or emotion between Billy and several other siblings is not as deep as Fred's. Of course, there are a total of five brothers and sisters. , It seems that it is difficult to portray group portraits. The third is that after Billy became Shazam, he became a chatter, and there was indeed a little bit of separation from the slightly gloomy character of his youth. But after the black little sister became Shazam, the sense of separation became weaker, and Fred was too natural.

But in general, I am still willing to give five stars to the discussion of friendship, family affection and juvenile growth expressed in this film

On the surface, it is indeed a joyous "sand sculpture" film, and most of the comments received are "Where is the darkness of DC?", but I have to say that Shazam actually still maintains the dark temperament of DC, It's just that it's wrapped in laughter and warmth to hide it more deeply. The setting of the seven deadly sins, admitting that he has been abandoned in order to become a true hero and gain a new family, is exactly the same as the connotation of Batman facing fear and becoming fear itself. At the beginning of the second year as a hero, he just wanted to buy wine and get money to watch strippers. Who told you that Chaoying must be Gao Guangweizheng? Looking forward to the emergence of more anti-routine superheroes, Marvel's set is really tired.

3.5. For 100% children's movies, it is a good idea to have a similar original family setting on both sides, but it is a pity that the story unfolds too badly. So on the whole, the ideal director for this film should be Hirokazu Edema.
