A real warrior dares to face a bleak life - but how about a "hammer crushing"?

I'll admit, I bought this film only because it was a hit at several festivals and nominated for an Oscar. I'm also an Oscar-nominated index viewer at some point. I don't really have much interest in the subject matter and content.
With rough footage, hand-cranked camera footage, into the life of an aging wrestler. The scarred body, the distressed economy, the love on the edge, the family that has been lost, the stadium where the scenery is no longer, and the heart that stops beating at any time. Hammer, the protagonist, is even willing to be a cooked vegetable worker who goes to work on weekends. According to worldly advice, he begins to retire, leaves the stage of fighting, gets close to his daughter, and falls in love in the evening. This is the end of his life. But the old American society is not so harmonious and friendly. The ambition and desire of the wrestler prevent him from dying in silence. A true warrior dares to face the bleak life, this is the saying of a Chinese literati. And what this American muscle man wants is a solid "hammer crush".
At the end of the film, the trembling hammer stood on the highest point of the stage, and perhaps the end of life, the iconic provocation, and the unscrupulous partner's fall to the ground has been extremely clumsy. At this moment, the camera turns to the direction where the dancer appeared. If it is a big cliché movie, the heroine should be full of tears, with eyes like a mother beast in estrus, supporting her, praying for the hero, and finally relying on the power of love to defeat her opponent. But Wrestler isn't a cookie-cutter movie. Wrestl isn't a real fight either. Those who wish to take the bait, the only real thing is the decisive leap of "hammer crushing pressure" and the heart of a strong man who is about to end at any time. The film comes to an abrupt end full of power. The psychological line of the actor's last jump should be, fuck you, I only need this jump.
Pursuing self-identity or seeking social identity have always been two directions of personal development. On top of the responsibility of earning money to support the family, the touching film of the pursuit of success should be counted as Will Smith's happiness to knock on the door. And running all the way on the road of self, even if this road leads to the collapse of all directions, there is no turning back, that is The Wrestler. Two completely different values, the former is pleasing to the eye, the latter is shocking. But what is shocking lies in the stubbornness and persistence of life. Even in the real world, blood is broken and the body is wrapped in horse leather, but it cannot obliterate the power and cruel beauty of life that erupted on this bloody road.
Beauties are twilight, and heroes end their lives are the mourning and unavoidable fate of human beings. Such as Arnold, you can turn into a kind and eloquent politician, and save the past as a mural in the governor's office to watch at your leisure. This is the one who knows the times. Wrestler, who is ignorant of current affairs, put all of his life on the frenzied cheers of the audience immersed in violence and the supreme psychological satisfaction of being a hero, until he died, and he would be "smashed with a hammer" when he died.
Wang Shuo said that life is like a stadium. Even if the ball is not scored in 90 minutes, you have to run, snatch, and shoot with your life, because the audience is cheering. This is the slick idea of a Chinese ruffian.
The beauty of Wrestler's life is that the whole world thinks I am a piece of shit, and I am willing to use my life to achieve a "hammer crush"! This is the freedom and strength of American life. Persistence in itself may also be a kind of meaning in life!
