A future version of Pinocchio's story. Although the film is very touching, I still don't believe or accept that a robot has such complex emotions. After all, a machine is just a machine, and it is also a machine with a human character added. Something that operates according to logical operations cannot do irrational things. And emotion is the most typical irrational. It would be very reluctant to replace a cat and a dog, even if it is a more expensive and more obedient one, but when it comes to replacing a better TV or even a car, I am afraid everyone is happy, this is the difference. If it doesn't want to be destroyed, then it has the right not to be destroyed, even if it is a machine. The whole movie is masterful, except for the ending. This fairy-tale ending is a bit blunt and slightly out of touch with the whole movie, as if the director had deliberately arranged for the little robot's dream to come true.
