In the way of joking between men, "The Expendables 2" fully ridiculed these "old people who couldn't be beaten to death". Ironically, the first of Stallone's team to die was a young man named Billy. "Why is the person who most wants to live and who should live the most dead, and those of us who don't want to live still alive?" Stallone's character Barney reads Billy's love letter to his girlfriend at Billy's funeral while denouncing the absurdity of the world and injustice. This may be the only message that The Expendables 2 brings.
