A few questions, who can answer?

People who feel seemingly unrelated throughout the film finally find a connection. But there are still some things I don't understand:

1. Finally, the body of a dog was carried out with the old man's body. Did the dog die because the dog ate the dropped pills?
2. When the nurse gave the old man infusion, did he not look carefully at the name of the medicine? Is it the medicine that made the old man die?
3. What happened to the body the police found in the closet in the first place?
4. Who stole the policeman's gun?

PTA has amazing talents in the exploration of modernity movies. For example, the structure of non-linear narrative, the avant-garde consciousness of editing, the foreshadowing of music, the instant explosive power of actors, etc. But the overall patchwork is too strong, and the fancy skills are indeed smooth and free, but it also brings a sense of ostentation. Life is short, communication is incompetent, standing on a lonely high hill, looking down on the road hesitating. In the violent storm, the frog fell to the ground, waiting for a new life.

  • Narrator: And there is the account of the hanging of three men, and a scuba diver, and a suicide. There are stories of coincidence and chance, of intersections and strange things told, and which is which and who only knows? And we generally say, "Well, if that was in a movie, I wouldn't believe it." Someone's so-and-so met someone else's so-and-so and so on. And it is in the humble opinion of this narrator that strange things happen all the time. And so it goes, and so it goes. And the book says, "We may be through with the past, but the past ain't through with us."
