I just accidentally wrote

Although it's an old movie, it still looks quite interesting in my age.

First of all, I felt that the movie was going back and forth. At first, it felt so messy and absurd, but in the end, the whole incident was connected and I tasted the wonderfulness of this movie. Another very interesting point of this film is that it can bring the audience's emotions in in the later stage, follow the rhythm of the film to a climax, then get to the point of excitement, and then suddenly a little time of silence like a roller coaster reaches the end. Very recommended.

The whole movie is 3 hours and 8 minutes. The front may be a bit boring and difficult to understand, but if you experience their life with your heart, you will find the charm of each person.

The first half was extremely extravagant, and the second half was too simple and perfunctory. For more than three hours, it was simply longer than the old Sir's life. The solid wood orchids, Tongtian Tower, and car crashes are all typical Hollywood movies that I understand. Photography and music editing, including performance, have a fairly mature system. Whether it is sincere or routine depends on everyone's understanding.

Overall it's not bad, but as a Hollywood commercial film, the structure is not compact enough. I don't know if there is a director's cut

Magnolia quotes

  • Jim Kurring: Now calm yourself down.

    Marcie: [shouts] I am calm!

Jim Kurring: No you are not calm. You're screaming at me. Do you understand? I got a call for disturbance, and I'm going to checking it out. That is what I'm going to do. Are you alone in here?

Marcie: I ain't got to answer none of your questions.

Jim Kurring: No, you don't, but I'm going to ask you one more time. Are you alone in here?

Marcie: What does it look like?

Jim Kurring: There's no one else in here?

    Marcie: You in here.

Jim Kurring: That's true, but is there anyone else besides me and you in this house?

Marcie: No, I said that already.

Jim Kurring: Are you lying to me?

    Marcie: I live by myself.

Jim Kurring: That might be true, but the question I'm asking you, ma'am: is there anyone else in this house right now?

    Marcie: No.

  • Burt Ramsey: You smell like trouble.

Jimmy Gator: I'm fucking hammered, Burt.
