It's an unfilled hole

It looks okay, very enjoyable, but the final ending is very inconsistent with the director's own logic! Those who should die have to die, this is a bit of a slap in the face!

In the Doug timeline after the incident, there is a future Doug who came here and wrote in the refrigerator that you can save him! But damn it's still dead! So where does Doug go in the future of this timeline?

What Doug did in going back in time should be the same as Doug before, why is the ending different! Could it be that he changed because he let the heroine follow him? This is far-fetched! You can only make up your own mind! There is a loophole anyway! The hole is not filled! It is very pitiful

and has a final ending. One Doug died. Does that mean that the future has changed? So Doug died in this timeline, will he be reborn in the future? If not reborn, what will happen to the current Doug to the future timeline? It's a causal relationship! The front and back are in harmony! Before and after must be corresponding! Now this ending doesn't match anything... Anyway, it's a pit

Denny: Alright: Life, like time and space, is not merely a local phenomenon.

Doug Carlin: [Screaming] Oh Alright! Am I asking a hard question?

Denny: [Muttering] Looks like I picked a bad week to stop snorting hash.

Doug Carlin: I'll tell you what: I will speak slow so that those of you with Ph.D's in the room can understand. Here, look. Here's a monitor, right?

[Throws a chair against the monitor, breaking it]

Doug Carlin: Now the monitor is broken. It's dead. It's not temporarily transitioned to another state of entropy, it's *dead*. Right. Now is *she* alive or is she *dead*?

    Denny: She's alive.

Doug Carlin: Alright. Now we're getting somewhere.
