This is a wonderful parallel time and space movie

I watched this movie from beginning to end today. Although I have the basis for my previous understanding of parallel time and space (some of them came from sheldon), I still don’t understand some plots after watching it. For example, Doug’s partner was obviously burned to death. Whose body did the crocodile eat? There should be no connection between multiple time and space. Why does the current time and space have a plot after Doug's crossing? In the spirit of breaking the casserole and asking to the end, I went through the film several times. In fact, Carroll's dialogue and Shanti's explanation of parallel time and space are the key to solving the mystery of the film. Shanti said that if a small change is made to a space-time, a new space-time will not be generated, but only accelerate the production of the result. Only when a large change is made to a space-time, a new space-time will be generated, and the original space-time is likely to disappear. . In fact, Doug has traveled through time and space twice, the first rescue failed, and the movie is presented from the second rescue. To restore the whole story should be like this:
Time and space 1: Claire was killed by Carroll, Doug's partner was killed, and the body was burned by the murderer. Doug participated in the investigation, found that he could travel through time and space, and sent a note to Doug. In fact, the behavior of sending a note is a small change to the space-time, so it is still space-time 1, just made some changes, we will call it space-time 1Copy for the time being.
Time-space 1Copy: It is exactly the same as Time-space 1 before sending the note again, because Doug's partner saw the note, which made the death method become a corpse eaten by a crocodile (this also explains Shanti's statement that Doug's partner's death method has changed) , but it didn't change the ending of Claire's death, and Doug also died. Because Doug's death changed history, Space-Time 2 appeared at this time, and the first half of Space-Time 2 completely copied Space-Time 1Copy (Space-Time 1Copy is the evolution of Space-Time 1, because there is not much conflict, so it is a combination of the two). The time point of Time and Space 2 should be the time when the dead Doug (the phone rings among the victims) and the real Doug have a historical conflict, which is why the director took Doug's phone ringing as a key scene.
Chrono 2: It was exactly the same as Chrono 1 Copy before, but the interesting thing is that what they just saw from the screen was Chrono 1, and what they were going through was Chrono Copy 1. That's why Shanti they saw that Doug's partner was burned to death , and Doug saw both the burn marks and the crocodile eating his partner. Since Doug finally died in order to save Claire, Doug of Time and Space Copy 1 appeared, and a conflict occurred. At this time, Time and Space 3.
Time and Space 3: The previous all were the same as Time and Space 2, and finally Doug and Claire lived happily together.
And the movie only filmed the whole process of the last time and space 3.

The above is a reasonable explanation I found for the director after thinking hard. If there is anything suspicious, welcome to discuss it.
