Movie that took four years to watch

There are a lot of animations in this article, which may need to be loaded

The following source is from my undisturbed after-view one afternoon. Because it is too messy, it probably does not constitute a spoiler threat.

Because of the difference in time and space between many classic works and now, it is difficult for you to like it at first sight. A work that has become canon must be a product of the past, even if the work describes a world that is more future than the present. The people of the past, the technology of the past, what the past society wanted to express and could express differed from what the people of the past, the technology of the present, and the society of the present wanted to express and could express. Because of this discrepancy, it is difficult for us to understand.

The emotion that accompanies difficulty is boredom. If a movie or a book has nothing to do with exams or any other interests, we tend to abandon the show and the book when we get bored. Even if the movie and the book are famous.

I also often give up the show because of this difficulty in understanding, but if this work is regarded as a classic, I will definitely force myself to try it again until I finish the work.

I don't believe what most people say is true, but for a long, long time, most people have said the same thing, and I'll take a good look at it.

The first time I watched "Gone with the Wind", about four years ago. The soundtrack, the background of the story, and the way the characters speak made me - Heavenly Duck, I don't understand your world. Especially in the first few minutes of the movie, the waywardness of the heroine really annoys me.

But it is a classic, I tried to watch it again, but unfortunately this movie is too long, I gave up again.

I didn't finish watching it until recently.

It's completely different from the first time - completely impressed by the charm of the heroine.

To describe her in the words of the hero in the play: selfish and shrewd, but faithful to herself.

add me, add me

Such characters are so alive. She expanded my awareness of the bravery that women can achieve.

The heroine is the daughter of a plantation landowner in the South of the United States, and has been pampered since childhood. She is beautiful, intelligent, and has loyal admirers. But she was hanging from a tree that belonged to someone else for a long time.

Even though she knew that Ashley and the beautiful and kind Merlin were going to get married, she made another post and asked Ashley what she thought.

Even though the civil war made her want to flee back to her hometown, in order to promise, she insisted on staying to deliver Merlin during the war.

Merlin and children

Even though the road was difficult and dangerous, she still took Merlin and the child back to Taoruiyuan. Facing the desolation of her homeland, she swore to God that she would never go hungry, even if she lied.

Even though Taoruiyuan is no longer the original Taoruiyuan, she still loves it deeply, because Taoruiyuan represents her parents.

angry sister

Even if the male lead leaves her in a disheartened manner (after she realizes that she actually loves the male lead), she still believes that she has a tomorrow.

She is not a fool, she is so witty and lovely.

The first time she became a widow, she tried her best to party.

This is really laughable

When the hunger and cold broke, the first thought when I saw the cow was to pull it back so that Merlin's children could have milk to drink.

She used curtains to make clothes when she was poor, and "The Promotion of the Crown Princess" is not the originator.

The left is the nurse

The stunning debut of the curtain skirt

At the end of the Civil War, she predicted a large crop of cotton that would fetch a good price next year

When the male protagonist proposed to her, she could confess that part of the reason she married him was because of money, that she liked him, but not enough, that she wanted a big diamond ring.

She knew that the way to treat people who were bad to her was to make them jealous.

In addition to the female lead's own charm, the male lead is also very charming, which is a combination of a rough man and a domineering president.

I especially like what he said:

I hope that one day I will be as powerful as the male protagonist.

So domineering, so handsome - one day you'll fall in love with me

One day you will be mine

The male lead leaves the female lead and joins the war

When the two are finally getting married, they discuss the marriage room

Give me a bunch of people like this

He and the hostess you come and go, it's very interesting. The misunderstanding between the two was atrocious.

Objectively speaking, the male protagonist is the female protagonist's own doing.

But at the end of the movie, I have the same hope as the heroine, as long as she still has tomorrow, she can save the hero...

If I was who I was four years ago, I might still not be able to finish watching this movie. At that time, it was probably hard for me to like her; now I am probably envious of her.

Do you have any discarded classics? Try it again after a while, you may have a completely different experience.

Gone with the Wind quotes

  • Gerald O'Hara: It will come to you, this love of the land. There's no gettin' away from it if you're Irish.

  • Rhett Butler: No, I don't think I will kiss you, although you need kissing, badly. That's what's wrong with you. You should be kissed and often, and by someone who knows how.
