Forever Tara Manor Forever Home

The first time I saw this movie was on CCTV-8. Scarlett drove a carriage, and Melanie, who was expecting to give birth, left Atlanta in the firelight. This scene deeply attracted me. Woman, but her eyes are so moving, revealing strength and invincibility, this tough woman has been imprinted in my mind from now on. It's a pity that the TV station only showed half of it at that time. There was no Internet at that time, so I didn't know what kind of film it was until I saw the novel for the first time in high school.
Whether it's a novel or a movie, it's not the love between Scarlett and Captain Butler that attracts me, but Scarlett's strength not to yield to fate and her persistence to her hometown of Tara Manor.
When Scarlett returned to the destroyed Tara, her mother died of illness, her father went mad, her friend was seriously ill, and her home was destroyed. . . Everything was so hopeless, I thought I'd break down if it were me, but our Scarlett, she stood up when she said "I'll never go hungry again, even if I go Steal and rob, I will never starve my family again", I cried, the whole book, the whole movie, this is my favorite part. Every time I encounter difficulties, every time I feel hopeless, the woman holding the dirt in her hands in the twilight will appear in my eyes and tell me that nothing is invincible.
During the three years of high school with heavy academics, sometimes it is too stressful to breathe. When I was looking for a job after graduating from college, I was deceived, betrayed and ridiculed. When I didn’t go well at work, I would learn from Scarlett and tell myself that tomorrow is a new day.
The one I bought has been torn over, but it has been lying on my pillow, and I have to watch the DVD of the movie several times every year. They will never fade in my memory.

Gone with the Wind quotes

  • Gerald O'Hara: It will come to you, this love of the land. There's no gettin' away from it if you're Irish.

  • Rhett Butler: No, I don't think I will kiss you, although you need kissing, badly. That's what's wrong with you. You should be kissed and often, and by someone who knows how.
