The Curse of Sisyphus

At the end of the last season, everything seems to have returned to the original point. There is no change in the mechanism of the system. Everyone's role has been inherited. Most of the time everything in the world is like Sisyphus pushing a stone up a mountain, ending and starting again, in vain and never ending. Almost all ordinary people will die together with the grass and trees after all. We are all members of this system. We have many fetters and constraints. Our own weaknesses and constraints of various conditions are destined to have no change in the outcome. The lyrics in step by step are if i am late donot wait , i may tarry little while , cause i need know , before i go , how come the devil smiles. Due to the inherent weakness of human beings, even if God does exist, in the end it is the devil who smiles.

Good-looking and good-looking, the social portraits of anti-corruption and cracking down on the underworld have the breath of martial arts novels. Not a single character is facialized, all of them come alive.

The Wire quotes

  • Det. James 'Jimmy' McNulty: [during interrogation] No name, huh? Well, for now, we'll just call you Boris.

Sergei 'Serge' Malatov: [sighs] Boris. Why always Boris?

  • Det. William Moreland: [repeated line to McNulty] Happy now, bitch?
