Find yourself in McNulty

I remember trying to watch this drama when I was in college, and I couldn't watch it until I finished the first episode. After working for a few years, I found it again and saw that because McNulty was talking in front of the judge and then the judge put pressure on the police station to force the police station to set up a task force, I was deeply attracted by this drama, and then I watched it all. five seasons.
Some people in the comments compared this show to Dream of Red Mansions, and I also found my own shadow in McNulty. After watching this drama, my feelings are basically the same as those of reading "Ordinary World" in college. It not only prompted me to make a summary of my work in the past few years after graduation, but also made me very objectively think about how to face the next work and life.
McNulty always wants to do what he thinks is "right", but what is right and what is wrong? The world is far from being as simple as right and wrong.
PS: Am I the only one who thinks Avon and Durant look alike? ! ! ! It makes me think of Avon every time I see Durant...
