This show is so good that I'm not sure where to start.

Whether good or bad, people will always have their own appeals when they come to the world, but the cruelty of the world is that it will change your attitude and reverse your life trajectory with its own powerful force majeure. People are powerless in the face of life. In the line of fire, I saw all kinds of characters. Each of them is working hard to walk the path of their own choice, thinking that they can change something with their own strength, but the fact is that in the end they did not change anything. Baltimore is still that Baltimore. Every character has a replacement. Evil is not punished and good is not promoted. But this drama is not so pessimistic. Although people's efforts may be useless, the world will always be a struggler. Survival is a struggle with no chance of winning. Everyone knows what their final outcome is, but everyone still desperately wants to leave some traces of their lives. How tragic!

I just watched a drama but I witnessed the existence of so many people. The value of a good drama probably lies in this!

Det. James 'Jimmy' McNulty: Man, lay off the Greeks. They invented civilization.

Det. William Moreland: Yeah? Ass-fucking, too.

  • Brother Mouzone: I see you favor a .45.

Omar: At night I do. And I keeps one in the chamber in case you ponderin'.
