How long can we live if the temperature of society drops below human nature?

My first review is dedicated to this film. The style of the film is not a typical Nordic movie, although the scenery in the film is mostly snow, which gives a cold feeling. However, the layout of the characters' homes in the play is mainly brown and warm. Perhaps a conflict or contrast, he told us, the film is actually colder.

Yes, the storyline is really cold, and that kind of deep depression pulls us to northern Europe.

Most directors convey the power of love in their films, but the most authentic ones are often the ones that show the ugliest and dirtiest side of society. Seeing too much beauty and positive energy in this world, we may all be deceived by this illusion. Admit it, you have thought that the world is a place full of negative energy. Each of us is an elk or a prey to be caught under the gun of society. We are hurt by this hypocritical world, but society is made up of people, and there is nothing we can do about it.

Maybe when we watch the movie, we can't let go for a long time, but when the camera is pulled to the end, you will find it very abrupt. Everyone greeted each other with a smile as if nothing happened before, what a hypocritical world this is.

Regarding the gunshot at the end, I think it comes from his inner fear, that figure is actually himself, the one who is misunderstood by everyone and the one who has been hurt by the world. But when the gunfire fell and the figure disappeared, he had become a better version of himself, and only after experiencing it would be stronger rather than more desperate.

Disappeared, maybe each of us has the courage to face this shitty world, maybe we can change this hypocritical world, but at least maybe...

  • [subtitled version]

Lucas: What are you saying? Have you got something to tell me?

    Agnes: Stop it, Lucas.

Lucas: You want to tell me something?

    Theo: Relax, Lucas.

Lucas: The whole town is listening. Tell me! What do you want to say?

Agnes: Stop it, you fucking psychopath!

Lucas: I want a word with Theo. Look into my eyes. Look me in the eyes. What do you see? Do you see anything? Nothing. There's nothing. There's nothing. You leave me alone now. You leave me alone now, Theo. Then I'll go. Thank you.
