Whether the film pays homage to "The Mist" or imitates "A Quiet Place" is unknown, but it does not take its essence and remove its dross.

"The Fog" ended in tragedy. In the end, the protagonist completely collapsed when he saw the rescue team. The film still wanted to express the evil and horror in human nature. The suspense and thriller did not go astray, and it kept the audience feeling it, and it was a great success. "A Quiet Place" is an innovation, relying on the sound to create a terrifying atmosphere, but the aliens are too mentally handicapped, and the plot is a bit blunt.

The filming is more serious, and the location special effects are well edited. I think I want to continue this horror film style with alien creatures as the background. Unfortunately, it has been deviating and the horror effect has not come out.

It stands to reason that once people are blindfolded and cannot see the surrounding environment, they will immediately panic. How does this feeling bring to the audience, and the audience can still be attracted by the plot? This is difficult.

Personally, I feel that the first part of the film and the indoor part can be filmed normally. The evil and cruelty of the aliens, their habits, the purpose of invading the earth, the characters, the conflicts, and the reasons and variations that some people don’t need to be blindfolded must be explained clearly. Then once you enter the blindfolded part of going out, you must let the audience also enter the blindfolded perspective of the protagonist, and feel panic, fear, injury, groping, fall, and running together with the protagonist. The development of the plot can be reflected through mutual dialogue and stereo effects. Of course, it can't be too long. After a short adventure, immediately enter the room and take off the blindfold, and then explain the next plot.

In the blindfolded stage, you can appropriately explain the protagonist's location, environment and mission progress from a top-down perspective, and it also implies that the aliens are observing them from a perspective.

As a result, the film uses a lot of external perspectives, and the audience cannot feel the heart of the protagonist. Avoiding all dangers, in fact, everyone knows that once you are blindfolded, it is extremely difficult to walk out of your home smoothly. These plot settings obviously weaken the original intention of the film's horror and thriller.

The highlight of the whole film is that the true colors of the two babies appeared, which added a lot of color to the film.

  • Malorie: Listen to me, we're going on a trip now, it's going to be rough. If you hear something in the woods, you tell me. if you hear something in the water, you tell me. But under no circumstances are you allowed to take off your blindfold.
