The skeleton of this film is peculiar and follows the routine of "A Quiet Place" - an unknown monster appears, forcing human beings to dare not use one of the five senses, creating horror and suspense with family affection, fancy death methods and death approximation.
Bird Box goes further down the road than A Quiet Place, though. Because as the opposite of Deathblade, "Demon/Monster/Indescribable" has never appeared, which is better than "Blind monster who looks ugly and scares out". This creates a "psychological suspense" that allows the audience to frighten themselves, which is different from the mode of regular American plasma films and monster films.
The core logic of the film is that as long as you see "the ineffable", you will die.
Myth of Cthulhu
I think it definitely draws on the setting of "The Myth of Cthulhu" - this world is far beyond what humans can understand. When the real truth is revealed to mankind, those who cannot understand the truth of the world will be mad and destroyed.
It's just that I don't know who the "Evil Demon" in this movie is? Or go out for a walk together?
Just looking at this film and seeing the sketches drawn by the great gods, I feel that the San value is already decreasing.
(The author took the opportunity to Amway: There is a "Myth of Cthulhu" set on the panda reading book, which is much cheaper than the physical book.)

plot
The doomsday crisis happened for some unknown reason, and many people began to commit suicide inexplicably. What started out in Russia (well, the devil is from Russia's hard setting won't change for a hundred years), spread to America within a few days.
As an older mother, Sister Sang had just finished the maternity checkup when she saw that the patient who looked out the window before decided to commit suicide, and then a group of patients who liked to sit and watch the sky showed their death ideas.
Sister Sang panicked, and hurriedly took her friend's car, intending to escape, but Lu Yu "don't know anything" anyway, after her friend stared at her, she desperately wanted to commit suicide. Sister Sang likes to play with her mobile phone and escaped a catastrophe, but she couldn't escape her friend's death and must overturn the car.
Fate is so interesting, there are countless casualties outside the door, but as long as you enter the bald uncle's house in "22 Miles", you can survive smoothly. I see this as the deterrent of the famous spy Bonn...
Supermarket employee and Internet writer Xiaopang Hei explained, "In this situation outside, it is obvious that there is a spiritual body, or a demon has come out of hell to pull it! These things do all evil, take the destruction of human beings as their own responsibility, and tirelessly persuade people to commit suicide. In the United States, We call them Demons, what are they called in Persia? Anyway, they are called fox spirits in China..."
(If it is really a fox spirit, it should be fine for those who love small animals to open the door. Maybe a white fox will come out to repay the kindness? Anyway, the American screenwriter did not check carefully, the fox spirit is not as scary as the Nian beast... We want to stop the Nian beast, Played in "The Great Wall" for thousands of years, prepared Liao Zhai for the fox spirit, and the detective Pu Songling...)
Xiaopang Hei's cousin who works at the construction site, Big Hei went on to say, "In simple terms, their function is to stare at whoever is pregnant, ah no, whoever wants to die!"
The man next to him said, "You understand so well, so why don't you draw the curtains?"
After the curtains were drawn, the survivors survived...
Sister Sang is the coach, and her subordinates have output and control, but these skills are basically sacrifice skills, the kind of skills that use life to release skills...
They traded a few lives for supermarket food, paid Cartogo's rent and deposits, and survived the first round.
But the devil's subordinates appeared...single-handedly sneaked in, and successfully took away all the team members of Sister Sang...
So, Sister Sang and Brother Big Hei lived happily together.
If you had to add a deadline to this time, it would be at least several years. Anyway, when the group was destroyed, the babies who were just born were already able to make soy sauce after the two shots were cut.
But the second wave of the enemy's attack was coming. Brother Big Hei released the sacrificial technique group to destroy the enemy. Because the child was too young to learn the skills, Sister Sang could only choose to leave the house with two children. They're going to Allied Heights...
After a difficult trek, Sister Sang successfully arrived at the base camp for the open-minded people - the school for the blind...
As for what the fox spirit looks like, it has not been announced in the end.
title question
Why is this film called "Bird Box Bird Box", and the Chinese translation is "Blindfolded Your Eyes"?
Bird box is the key prop for Sister Sang to survive.
Because birds have small brains, they won't go crazy when they see "devils", and the bird's call means that there is no problem nearby, and the crazy call means that there is a problem.
Putting the bird in the box has a function similar to "Dragon Ball Radar", allowing Sister Sang to successfully avoid the enemy and point the way.
Everyone who saw the devil died?
No, it is said in the film that the neurotic patients are not dead, they have become ghosts who play tricks for tigers, looking for people with closed eyes all day long and asking them to open their eyes. And when ordinary people open their eyes, there is a chance that they will become ghosts.
Because the stranger who came in, said that he was forced to open his eyes by a neuropathy and saw a "devil", thus becoming a ghost.
