Why do we all love Mr.wick?
Because the world he lives in is full of rituals.
When the time is up, one second is not bad, and the doctor can't give john another stitch. Everyone who has helped john, even if it is just a little favor, must accept the punishment from the High table.
Most of us live in a chaotic but stable world, and many times we just settle for a dull life, and so do I.
However, when I think back to my childhood, when I was a child, I had a very strong sense of ritual.
If you punch me, I have to give you a punch; if I give you an eraser, you have to give me a refill; before playing the game, everyone must know the rules of the game...
Perhaps it was to evoke memories of childhood, perhaps to yearn for order, and of course because of him, a man who would never die.
Because we know he'll never die, we'll be looking forward to what more difficult levels await him.
(When watching john wick, there is a kind of action game that Gao is playing at the most difficult level, especially the group of warriors with upgraded armor sent by High table. The blood is thick, and the attack power of the pistol is not enough. Each player has to play 5 more than a gun to kill)
Unfortunately, what is unexpected and reasonable is that the action part of this episode is a bit watery, and the naked eye can see a lot of design sense of "seeing and dismantling" when fighting. Sometimes Mr.wick pauses deliberately to wait for the enemy's attack. The hit, refreshing and realism are a little worse.
However, that does not prevent us from loving this handsome and immortal man.
