I watched the first half of the film with a little ridicule. I know it's wrong to laugh at a belief, but I really don't believe that a bible can protect someone from bullets or help a villain manipulate people. Such exaggeration of a Bible as a golden bell and iron shirt is simply speechless. . . Is this a missionary film? If so, that's too fake... It
wasn't until Eli was shot that I realized that this movie wasn't as sci-fi as I thought it would be.
(If you haven't seen the video, don't read the comments below.)
Eli walks west with Solana empty-handed, where he begins to recite the Bible. And then we find out that Eli is blind...
the only Bible that's left in the world is actually written in Braille.
Eli endured more than 30 cold winters for the inheritance of this belief.
The object of belief is not important, what matters is the act of belief.
So I no longer struggled with how Eli was blind and shot accurately.
I got the verb faith out of it, which is enough for me to acknowledge the value of this film.
