The Internationale, there's never been a savior

The Chinese people have beliefs in the first place, not to mention Confucianism, Buddhism and Taoism. Besides, they believe in their parents, family patriarchs, and gods and ghosts. They created the Mao Sun God movement in New China and wiped out all other beliefs. Later, Mao Taiyang The creation of gods failed but other beliefs have been smashed. So now the new beliefs of the Chinese people are gone. No beliefs are terrible, sad, hateful, pitiful and shameful. But I don’t agree that this film regards the Bible as the savior. First, whether Christianity, Islam, or Judaism originated in the Middle East, these religions have the characteristics of xenophobia and violence. A large part of the war in the West is because of the struggle between religions or even the same kind. The struggles between different religious factions, especially in the Middle East now, is a mess, so why does Christianity in Europe and the United States seem to be in harmony? This cannot be said to be the credit of Christianity. This is due to the increase in productivity brought about by the Industrial Revolution. The most prosperous life in the world means that the so-called harmony provides the basis for material things. As for the only equality of European and American people, it has nothing to do with religion. The rules of the political game are different. Europe and the United States believe in Christianity and nothing else is to inherit history. I have lifted many Christians in China, whether they are in rural areas or small cities. I would say that most of them are gods. Chinese people basically do not purify themselves by believing in religion. They are more seeking psychological comfort and using what others don’t know about. Doctrinal education refutes others. Compared with the whole world, Chinese believers should be the least religious, and there are basically no martyrs, especially ordinary people. It's all a pragmatic choice. When I watched this video, I was most curious about the 33-minute nuclear war apocalypse map. Russia ate Europe, Japan ate Northeast China and Vietnam, India ate nearby areas such as southern Tibet, and China ate the Western Regions and Africa. I ate some of it, so I just want to say that it doesn’t matter if China is blown up by a nuclear bomb in an American drama about religious beliefs. Why is the world at the end of a nuclear war, Japan can still eat Northeast China and Vietnam, and India can still eat it Tibet. The nuclear war can not defeat the United States. It has also been invaded by India, which does not have many nuclear weapons, and has been invaded by Japan, which has no nuclear weapons, and occupied Manchukuo in the three eastern provinces. That's the faith the Yankees speak of themselves.

The Book of Eli quotes

  • Eli: They say the war tore a hole in the sky, you've probably heard the stories.

    Solara: Yeah.

Eli: The war tore a hole in the sky, the sun came down, burnt everything, everyone, I wandered, I didn't really know what I should do or where I was going. I was just moving from place to place, trying to stay alive. And then one day I heard this voice. I don't know how to explain it, it's like it was coming from inside me. But I could hear it clear as day. Clear as I can hear you talking to me now. It told me to carry the book west, it told me that a path would be laid out before me, that I'd be led to a place where the book would be safe. It told me I'd be protected, against anyone or anything that tried to stand in my way. If only I would have faith. That was thirty years ago and I've been walking ever since.

Solara: And you did all this because a voice told you to?

Eli: I know what I hear, I know what I heard, I know I'm not crazy, I didn't imagine it

  • Hoyt: [seeing two dead hijackers] It's like he's protected somehow. Like there's nothing that can touch him

Carnegie: Oh, he's just a fucking man. You put a bullet in him, he'll go down like any other.
