At first, I thought the color scheme was cool and wanted to see it. Didn't expect it to be about religion.
The old lady was shaking her hands when she was holding the plate. I thought it was funny at first. I forgot that the shaking hands were cannibals.
It's amazing that the bible is in braille because I thought he memorized it a long time ago and then wrote it on that bible and I never found out that Eli was blind (someone listed a lot in the comments...)
It's a pity that Eli's name is not written in the title of the book at the end
