Have you ever daydreamed?

I accidentally mentioned this film one day, recommended it to a new friend, and wrote about my personal viewing experience when I got home.
"The Secret Life of Walter Mitty" was not able to sleep one night, so I watched it on PPS temporarily. I thought it was a cartoon when I saw the dazzling poster, but when I clicked on the broadcast, I realized that it was about a man's experience. , an interesting and inspiring experience. Have you ever daydreamed? It's not the kind of lying down to do it, but the kind of doing it while standing awake. It's a slight dream that doesn't speak, it's just a fantasy. It's a dream when the whole scene is constructed and substituted into one's own. Walter Mitty, the male protagonist of this film, is very capable of daydreaming, which is what he likes to do in his mundane work and life: fantasize about being a hero in the world and in the eyes of his beloved in different scenes, experiencing various adventure. Some people say that dreams and reality go against each other, but it seems to be interesting to be able to dream in ordinary reality. Although it does not harm others, it is actually not bad.
Back to the main point of the story, as the negative manager of Life magazine, at a critical juncture in the magazine's transformation, an important negative was lost. In order to find the negative, Walter unexpectedly embarks on a true adventure, overcoming his inner fears and bravely pursuing his dreams. Stop and think about it, when you have served in a company for more than ten years, you are familiar with the company's rules and regulations, business processes, personnel, responsibilities, etc., you understand the company's corporate culture, and you blurt out various slogans of the company. The question is, do you think Did you really fully understand its meaning and put it into practice? This is also Walter's problem. The magazine's motto is "To see the world, things dangerous to come to, To see behind walls, to draw closer, To find each other and to feel That is the Purpose of LIFE. )." Walter can recite, but apparently not quite, the unexpected adventures of Sean Connor's negatives gave him a chance to prove it. (Spoilers below, watch carefully)
The interesting thing is that years do not fail people, and what you have learned and owned will reward you at some point. During Walter's film-chasing trip, at first he just held a briefcase with a rubber boy toy from his sister, and followed the company's motto, chasing him to Greenland, where he encountered a drunk helicopter pilot, Daydreaming of the courage to get on a plane, jump from a helicopter into the icy sea by mistake, escape from a shark's mouth, get on an exploration boat, eat a cake made by mom, follow the path of Sean Connor, land in Iceland, ride a bicycle Go to the hotel and trade the rubber boy for skateboards with the kids you meet. When the landscape of Iceland's towns unfolded before him, Walter chose to use his skateboard to glide on the beautiful roads in Iceland, facing the scorching sun, through the valleys, past waterfalls, and arrived at the unattended town. He saw Sean standing in front of him. The small plane flew to the erupting volcano, got into the car of the innkeeper who was chasing after him to save him, fled in the volcanic ash, and arrived at a Papa John's fast food restaurant in Iceland to rest. I think there are many, many moviegoers who love this part. There are the beautiful and simple Icelandic scenery, the joyful and refreshing gliding all the way, the staggering deviations that hang in the air, and the surprise "accidents" of the rest of their lives. Several things in Walter's life meet and meet here, swapping the rubber boy toy he liked as a child for a skateboard, using the skateboarding skills he learned as a teenager to glide all the way, after his father passed away, he went to work at the fast food restaurant Papa John met in Iceland. .
The adventure, the rest of the life, the joy did not come as promised, Sean did not meet, the negatives disappeared, and he must return eventually, facing the riddled reality: the magazine shut down, the company was laid off, the person in love reunited with the ex-husband, what to do? When Walter returned home, he found a clue to the whereabouts of Sean Connor at home. To go or not to go? Persist or give up? Walter set off with the hiking bag from his high school days, the travel notes given by his father (never used), and the orange cake made by his mother. This section of travel notes is also a great love. Interacting with people and walking with heaven and earth, there are not only the vivid social sciences and humanities of the journey, but also the scenery that can be seen in National Geographic magazine. When you are in the mountains, it seems that it is not reality, but more like a dream. The meeting with Sean was like the ending of a sigh and what did it suggest? Especially in the snow leopard part, live in the moment, enjoy the moment, even if you have regrets, don't regret it, isn't it a positive attitude? Then... the film has a happy but imperfect ending, just like life, there are always setbacks and losses, but also gains and surprises, following each other, and then enriching and consummating. I like it very much, and I hope people who watch the movie do the same.
I added that when Walter left the company to go to Greenland, he walked through the cover of the first issue of the magazine, which is very representative. With the soundtrack, I like it very much. Several fantasy scenes in this film are quite interesting, the part with the new president is very interesting, and the scenes where the heroines appear in the fantasy of Greenland and Iceland respectively are very good.
I have to praise the soundtrack of the whole film. I love the background music and songs. I have shared the theme song stay alive before. I recommend it to everyone. Even if you are too lazy to watch the movie, I suggest you listen to this song. PS: Spoiler for Yuan Liang, my spoiler ^o^
