The movie version should be regarded as a continuation of the TV series. Series like American TV series and Japanese TV series generally follow the ratings. If you want to wait for the ending, you must be disappointed. Therefore, the TV series hastily ended and the movie version ending was born because of the decline in ratings. For some reason, this sequel was only released after many years. Although the two main actors have not changed, I have to say that apart from THEME, which is still the familiar tune, everything else is not the taste of XF. Without the main line of the series-conspiracy theory, the film seems to fall apart, and there is no explanation for the tail left by the ending of the upper movie version or the TV series. It is a completely new story. Also, the common problem of American TV shows is that the conspiracy becomes bigger and bigger, and it can't end in the end, so it can't stop. The only thing that is gratifying is that in the nine seasons of the TV series, Maude and Scarlett, who have always remained in a state of separation, appeared in front of everyone as a couple in this episode. Ignoring that plain case, the film finally gave an explanation to XF fans who care about the fate of the two protagonists.
After CAST, Maude and Scarlett wandered in the blue sea and blue sky in a light boat and waved to the sky (audience). X-File Closed, it's real this time.
