The magazine I read recently introduced the content about vampires, and I was a little fascinated by it, so I searched for this movie to watch. In fact, movies and TV series about this subject have become popular a long time ago, but I am the kind of person who is slow to respond. When something is very popular, I don't watch it when it's being touted, and then I'll watch it when I accidentally think of it or come across a related record. All in all, it's very casual, and I don't like being bound and tied up.
The magazine said that the first vampire in history was called Cain, the child of Adam and Eve. He was punished and cursed for killing his brother in jealousy and lying to God. He wants to live forever by sucking blood and can't see the sun. At this point I suddenly think of Louie in the film, the last time he sees the sunrise, before he decides to accept Leicester's first embrace. He didn't remember the sunrise before this, but this time it was unforgettable. This scene in the film is also quite beautiful, and people always know how to cherish it after losing it. This touched me a lot. In my opinion, Tom is the most vivid expression of Lester's loneliness. A solitary vampire, even though he always demands the elegance of the noble class, wears fancy clothes, plays the piano, and can enjoy the most delicious meal precisely one second before the heart stops beating, but all this is a disguise. It can always be debunked by the words of his comrade Louis, who he has nurtured by himself, which triggers his rage. It all touches on his anger when Louis asks him what immortality means, when Louis insists he won't suck human blood. It was also the warmth of humanity that still remained in his heart. When he looked for Louie, I thought it was the only chance he had had to embrace the warmth since he became a vampire, so he chose him without hesitation. Louis was originally despairing of life, but out of human nature, he still chose immortality. Maybe he didn't know what that meant at the time, as every new vampire does. Like the little girl Claudia later, she was full of excitement and curiosity at the beginning, playing pranks on all kinds of people, and sucking human blood in different ways. But decades, hundreds of years have passed, and she is tired of it. She was tired of being the same doll she was, she was tired of living with Lester and Louie by her side. So she began to trace the source of hatred. She couldn't hate Louis, because in her heart, Louis was her only "like" and the only light that could warm her. Louie is a special existence in the vampire community, he is like the light that vampires all long to see. But where is the light of Louis? He was constantly searching, in order to pass the long time, and for the answer he always wanted to know. But what if you found it? Better never find it, maybe there is no answer at all. Amon, Lester, Claudia, and Louis, the attitude and way they choose to treat immortality is the answer in their hearts. As human beings, immortality is a feeling that can never be experienced. However, people always have good fantasies about it. The ancient emperor tried the elixir of immortality, and the raw material in the furnace was his inflated desire. However, they all failed In the end, I can't help but feel grateful for it, but luckily it didn't work out. Otherwise, there will be one more vampire in this world who wanders alone in the middle of the night and rests on the blood of others. The immortality of a vampire is the loneliness that never disappears. Like the book says, they don't die of old age, they just die of sunshine and loneliness.
How sad this is.
