Eternal life is just an infinite extension of pain for attachment

I watched "Four Hundred Years of Horror" a few days ago and then watched this movie, because it is also a vampire-themed movie, and in terms of year, this one is a little later.

If the two films are compared, I personally feel that this Night Interview is slightly less shocking, although the pictures, makeup, and music are equally exquisite (the European set in the 18th century is as realistic and grand as a stage play), the actors The lineup is more impressive, but the main storyline is slightly erratic and fragmented.

Louie (Brad Pitt) spent two hundred years of his life without finding the fate of relief. His gloomy feelings have nowhere to susten, and he wanders in modern society like a walking dead, but the pain cannot be untied. However, at the end of the film, the reporter did not feel the helplessness of Louis at all. He was bewitched by immortality, power, and ghosts. He even tried to exchange his life for the identity of a vampire. Louis finally gave up. The temptation of rejection; the morning sun, the passage of time, the emotions of happiness or sadness, all cannot resist the charm of the power of the night.

In fact, if you can accept the setting of the vampire theme, it is easy to be attracted by the movie. Aside from the cloak of the subject matter on which the film is based, the director is always expressing the content of human nature, his interpretation of life, family affection, love, hope and sadness.

Personally, I feel that Tom Cruise (Lestat)'s performance in this film is quite amazing. I didn't expect that Xiaosheng, who is like a vase, was also a powerful general at the beginning, which is really impressive.

  • Louis: Bear me no ill will, my love, we are now even.

    Claudia: What do you mean?

Louis: What died in that room was not that woman. What has died is the last breath in me that was human.

Claudia: Yes, Father. At last we are even.

  • Claudia: Louis, what's happening to her?

Louis: She is dying. It happened to you, too, but you were too young to remember.
