The lingering breath of loneliness

Finished watching Interview with the Vampire today. After watching it, I felt very uncomfortable. The smell of loneliness haunts this movie and haunts me after watching it.
I was so impressed with Tom's Lester being burned to death by Pitt's Louie, and I was a little lost for the next hour or so. I've always been leaning towards Louie before because of his struggles, his humanity that hasn't disappeared, but from this moment on I just kind of hate Louie, why not save him, why? I know that Louie wants to run away with Claudia, and they hate Lester just as much for turning him into a vampire. But what about Louis' "humanity" at this time? Lester didn't hurt him, he even gave Louie "something he didn't have" options. It was Louie who chose to be a vampire, not die. As for Claudia, she turned into a vampire, and Louis should be more responsible than Lester! In her words, Louie took her life and Lester gave her another form of life. Lester did it precisely because Louis liked the little girl - and in that sense, Louis owed Lester.
In fact, all Lester needs is a companion, because vampires are too lonely. He chose Louie (why not a woman? I think vampires have no idea of gender, Khan), unfortunately Louie chose to kill him and run off with Claudia. This makes me quite unhappy. But then I began to sympathize with Louis again when Claudia was turned to stone by the sun. Claudia called him father, but they were obviously lovers, so I was happy when Louis burned all the vampires to death.
Afterwards, the scene of Louis dragging a lonely figure through the centuries brought the loneliness that haunts the film to a climax. I didn't actually see it when Louie met Lester again, though, still a little sorry for Lester's devastated face and skin. Lester smirked charmingly and said "The more you tried, the more I wanted you" but Dead Louie only replied that I should go. At the end of the film Lester gets into the car of the reporter who is interviewing Louie and tells him "You're going to have a choice that I haven't had" , as said to Louis hundreds of years ago. But then I was no longer moved. What vampires really need is a companion, no matter what kind of companion.
Everyone in the film, no, all vampires are lonely and miserable: Louis because of his undeniable humanity and the fact that he is a vampire, Lester because he never found a companion, Claudia because of desire When you grow up, you can only keep the figure of a little girl forever. And all kinds of vampires in the theater, including Armand, are all alone.
In fact, these things happen in dark places, why not stage them in the sun every day?

  • Louis: Bear me no ill will, my love, we are now even.

    Claudia: What do you mean?

Louis: What died in that room was not that woman. What has died is the last breath in me that was human.

Claudia: Yes, Father. At last we are even.

  • Claudia: Louis, what's happening to her?

Louis: She is dying. It happened to you, too, but you were too young to remember.
