I find it hard to judge a 1960s movie by contemporary standards. It is estimated that due to the time limit, the movie omitted a lot of classic scenes, but the lines and scenes are still highly restored to the original work, and I did not let me fall in the place where I should cry.
Of course, other than Parker, who else can interpret Atticus, the righteous, kind and fearless gentleman. The people of their Finch family must be proud of each other.
There are too many moving characters in the novel, Scooter, Jem, Calpurnia, Mrs. Dubose, Miss Maudie... But the most impressive is the eccentric Radley. If Atticus is the sun, the oddball is like the wind that blows away the dark clouds in the night sky, allowing us to see through the starlight whether the road ahead is dangerous. And Scooter's "Hello, weirdo" will always bring tears to your eyes.
