Suspense is nothing more than the fact that the film contains too many questions or inversions. The heroine's attitude towards the fat man has been reversed many times (imprisonment, letting go, the old sailor's joke, the kindness with the "daughter", the kidnapper, HELP, the bearded man, etc.), and the attitude towards the outside world has also been reversed many times. most of the time this film takes place in the "Secret Room", which reminds me of another movie "Isolation", Isolation describes how a group of people broke up into a gang, and finally evolved into such a cruel pattern, In the end, the heroine broke the pattern and messed up everything. It's just that what this film falls apart is the heroine's own thoughts, to the fat man, to the world, to the bearded man, and to the crazy woman. In the end, who should join the group, what kind of power should I play vs. believe in that situation, and how to face it. Both films are wonderful.
But I think the film is better because the ending could have ended where the 10 Cloverfield Lane sign appeared. But on the radio, the voice of Heaven to the left, Soldier to the right, oh no, the fight goes to Houston, and the shelter goes to XX (can't remember the place name). And then in the distance to Houston floated the ship. (Alien or human?)
At first, the heroine did what she didn't dare to do for the little girl before.
