Blind Side is translated by some as a blind spot, some as a weakness, and some as a guardian. I think the connection between these names is not difficult to understand. It is because of the existence of blind spots that we have weaknesses, and everyone is imperfect. Everyone has their own weaknesses. We are all careful to protect our weaknesses so as not to put ourselves in the abyss of eternal redemption, so people who love us He became a guardian, just like BM's sentence: "I'll back on u", which he said to his white mother and to the coach, and he silently guarded every family role he considered in his heart.
I think he is lucky for the role of BM. Although he was abandoned by his relatives when he was young, he did not form an anti-social personality to commit crimes or take revenge on others. He just wrapped himself in self-protection (later also mentioned that self-protection is a role. talent), with a soft and shy character that doesn't match his big size, allowing the audience to eliminate discrimination and produce the same sympathy as the heroine. This may be the advantage of the adaptation of real events. There is not too much drama, but in order to avoid monotony and add many heart-warming details, the plot is still full.
The white mother played by Sandra left more impressions on me. The audience knew Big mike with her. However, as the only clue character in the play, she also has a rare character: when she appears, she is a strong woman and has a famous brand that is standard for the rich. It is easy for people to ignore her inner thoughts. She thought that helping in the heavy rain should be just a chance encounter, but the heroine's stubbornness and generosity gave Mike a bed, a room and a home, and even shared her own family. She is the heroine Changed Mike, let him stop being a runner and find the warmth of a family. This change may be two-way, just as the heroine said: "He changed me", if Anne had doubted her decision and was afraid of making mistakes, then Mike's excellence and transformation made her glad that her vision was correct and she persisted. Beliefs are correct. Anne gained even more confidence and honor in this relationship.
A passage from the play left a deep impression on me:
Courage is a hard thing to figure. You can have courage based on a dumb idea or mistake, but you're not supposed to question adults, or your coach or your teacher, because they make the rules. Maybe they know best, but maybe they don't. It all depends on who you are, where you come from. Didn't at least one of the six hundred guys think about giving up and joining with the other side? I mean, Valley of Death, that's pretty salty stuff. That's why courage it's tricky. Should you always do what others tell you to do? Sometimes you might not even know why you're doing something. I mean any fool can have courage. But honor, that's the real reason, you either do something or you don't. It's who you are and maybe who you want to be.If you die trying for something important then you have both honor and courage and that's pretty good. I think that's what the writer was saying that you should hope for courage and try for honor. And maybe even pray that the people telling you what to do have some, too.
Fighting for honor is everyone's dream. Even if you die in battle, it doesn't matter. No matter the decision is right or wrong, the only thing that can prove that you have lived is the process of your hard work and dedication. As for the result, you can't really force it. I think in the end Mike realized the same thing. Having someone to cherish, having the courage to protect, and having the freedom to choose is the glory of life that I can feel.
