What's wrong with fulfilling others?

"Weakness" is really a very warm movie.
When Mrs. Tao Xi appeared on the camera, she was a brave and capable woman. Surprisingly, she made the warm decision to take in Big Mike and sincerely cared for him.
She took care of Mike's sensitive heart meticulously, and gave this big black boy who had low self-esteem and loneliness his first Thanksgiving turkey feast, his first right to choose his favorite long-sleeved winter clothes, and his first Christmas family. Taking a group photo, owning his own bed for the first time... Then he continued to encourage him and trust him according to his potential, so that this useless "boring gourd" became an excellent football player competing for many colleges and universities in the United States, and finally helped him succeed. Admitted to the University of Mississippi.
As to why it was the University of Mississippi and not any other better university within his reach, it aroused suspicion and envy from others.
People from the Bureau of Investigation found Mike and said that Mrs. Tausy's family saw his football potential, and they adopted him and cared for him to train him, in fact, to choose and send an excellent football player from the University of Mississippi. This guess made Mike feel earth-shattering, and he immediately felt a sense of being used as a chess piece.
Leaving aside whether Mrs. Tausy's series of behaviors really have him as a "pawn", from Mike's point of view, is he really worth being angry with?
I have always believed that as a potential person who has no platform to exert his own abilities or cannot be displayed by his own conditions and abilities, when someone is willing to give you a chance, you only need to consider "whether you are willing to use this person to give you this opportunity." Opportunity to express yourself" is fine, rather than worrying about how your self-presentation will benefit those who help you.
When I first graduated from university, some classmates were very picky about the recruiting unit, and even thought that "now I want to do those meaningless things, run errands, but the famous and profitable things are all the boss's own" and were unwilling to join. What's wrong with that? Which unit and institution is not like this? When people recruit you, they give you the opportunity to grow in the workplace. If you are really good, you will definitely be appreciated. Wouldn’t it be great if you enjoy the moment of showing your talents? Wisdom Eye"?
I was once questioned by a friend that I should not participate in volunteer activities, and I still find his reasons incomprehensible. He said that there are countless mobile volunteers like you. Everyone participates in activities when they have time, but they do not come when they have time. Volunteers are changing batch by batch. When choosing honors like "Excellent Volunteer", only the organizer benefits, so why should you be her stepping stone? ...I am amazed. Participating in volunteer activities is not a personal honor. It is enough for me to do what I want to do and get satisfaction and happiness from it. And if my participation can win honor for the team organizer to accumulate capital, then this honor is also a collective honor, I don't mind her receiving it, not to mention she must have spent a lot of energy and effort in the process of organizing the event. It's risky.
We do what we want to do, choose the choices we want, and that's fine. What does it matter if you accomplish something for someone else by the way?
If you don't have someone else give you a job and give you the opportunity to serve others, you can't do what you want to do at all, and you can only complain and feel depressed and get nothing. If you don't want to do this, what's so bad about a win-win situation?
The problem Mike struggles with in the film is that Mrs. Tausy "used" him. But if Mrs. Tucci didn't give him assistance and love, he would probably still be picking up leftover popcorn in the gym every day, relying on short-sleeved T-shirts for the winter and not necessarily able to finish his studies. He solved the problem of survival and initially realized the value of life. This is a stage that is difficult for normal children to reach. He, an "orphan", did it with the help of Mrs. Tao Xi's family, so why bother to care about his success? What is the benefit to the benefactor's family? If they make you feel hypocritical and commercial when they are doing kindness, then you can refuse in the process; if you have always experienced sincerity and warmth, and can eventually bring happiness to those who help you, then it is not something you should do happy thing?
Mike really shouldn't be angry.
Fortunately, a reconciliation was finally reached, because Mrs. Tao Xi's family originally only wanted to help him, and there was no "chess piece" calculation. When Mrs. Taosy saw Mike's life on the right track step by step, her heart was full of endless satisfaction. She was happy from the help. This is what she got, and it was not related to the University of Mississippi.
If Mike didn't think from a narrow perspective at the beginning, thinking that it was a good thing that he succeeded and succeeded Mrs. Tucci, then the episode of their feud would not have happened. Fortunately, the misunderstanding was quickly resolved, I think this is a luckier thing.

If it weren't for the super cute SJ, I'd probably only give two stars. The twists and turns of the plot are too right-angled, and the characters are very face-to-face. I still don't think Sandra's performance is a big breakthrough, it's really far from Mei Gu. Perhaps it made the judges more narcissistic because the film represented the true American dream. I was more moved by the actual photos at the end of the film than the movie itself. That happy and calm expression is not comparable to performance
