Ethan Hunt and his teammates are tasked with recovering three nuclear weapons of mass destruction. Seeing that the mission is about to be completed, in order to save the life of one of his teammates, Luthor (Ving Rhames), three nuclear weapons are taken away. The head of the CIA, Ms. Sloan (Angela Bassett), brings in Walker (Henry Cavill), her smug general, to watch Ethan Hunt complete the mission of recovering the nuclear weapon. During the period, the female agent Ilsa (Rebecca Ferguson) suddenly appeared, and Ethan Hunt discovered that he was not only facing terrorists, but also the inner ghosts lurking in government departments.
