In my opinion, the key to the success of the Mission: Impossible franchise is Tom Cruise. Like in Mission: Impossible 6, for the realistic effect of the action scenes, Tom Cruise refused the green screen special effects and flew the helicopter himself to shoot. Flying a helicopter requires great skill, and having Tom Cruise fly it is a stunt that no one has ever tried. Before filming, Tom went to a professional company to learn helicopter driving, in order to become a pilot with 2,000 hours of flying experience in a short period of time, but even a novice pilot requires at least 3 months of 8 hours of training a day quantity. Such strict standards required Tom Cruise to train day and night to finally achieve the established driving standards. In order to shoot this dangerous action scene of aerial chase, the film crew will have 13 helicopters flying in the air at the same time, and the helicopters to be filmed are only a few feet apart when they are doing stunts in the air.
