We are all cavemen

Human scientists clone replicants to prolong life and delay aging for clients. Those people are implanted with memories, they are under the lie that the world is on the verge of destruction due to pollution, they are survivors, and they are on a mission to reproduce human life. Every once in a while, someone wins the lottery, and the winner is happily sent to the world's only oasis. Lincoln is one of them, he is a problem baby, he is tired of the same life, he has doubts about the rigid rules and the flow of the labor production line. Until one day, he found a live butterfly. Since the world has been polluted, how can there still be living creatures? He was executed, while another lucky winner who was sent to the oasis escaped from the operating room covered in blood, and was dragged away with a roar. They became surrogate mothers and transplanted organs from living organs. This is their mission, and completion is the end. Lincoln was terrified. His love interest, Jordan, was also the chosen one. He immediately returned, took Jordan to escape, and walked out of the cave. It turned out that the oasis was outside. The first half of the film is full of doubts and is more exciting, and the second half is considered a shootout film, which is just average. The ending can be guessed by everyone. The hero defeats the enemy and leads everyone to the light. At the end of the film, those replicants walked into the sun, and it ended hastily. The clients of the replicators are all high-ranking officials and rich people, with the same genes and the same appearance, how can the world tolerate them? Plato also has a cave theory. In fact, we are all cavemen, and we don’t know why we are busy living for illusory goals. But out of the cave, the world becomes clear, the more there is no way to go. Maybe it would be better to live in a daze in a cave, and die in a daze, at least without fear, worry, and pain.

Maybe it’s because I didn’t feel much after watching the black mirror first (the second episode seems to be like this, it turned out to be the inspiration from here)

It’s so beautiful and funny. There’s no idiot and the soundtrack is funny [ps Dolly Sheep was born in 1996 and 16 years have passed. There are already many [people] products on the market now, hehehehe]

The Island quotes

  • Lincoln Six-Echo: Thanks for doing this.

Tom Lincoln: That's all right. I'd like to think you'd do the same thing if you were me.

  • Merrick: [putting microsensors in Lincoln Six-Echo's eyes] Don't worry, it's painless.

Lincoln Six-Echo: [in pain] It hurts.

    Merrick: [nonchalant] Not really.

    Lincoln Six-Echo: Yeah, it does.

    Merrick: No it doesn't.

Lincoln Six-Echo: Yeah, it really, really does.

Merrick: [after all microsensors went under Lincoln Six-Echo's eyes] The microsensors will move along your optic nerve. They will be uploading readings over the next 24 hours, after which you will pass them through your urine. Now *that* might hurt.
