What's missing from "Escape from the Clone Island"?

The plot is average, I always feel like something is missing

1. The portrayal of the characters is not deep enough, and the connection between the audience and the characters is not fully established. From the beginning to the end, they are just watching other people's stories. There is a point in the middle. When the company executives introduced the agents, they said that the clones are more like teenagers. This is completely unimpressive in the previous plot. Except for a few unknown jokes in the bar after the escape, in the movie In other parts, the ignorance of the characters and the nervousness of the real society are not well portrayed.

2. There are some inexplicable plot points. Of course, I think it may be because the foreshadowing is not enough or the follow-up processing of the characters is more troublesome, so just simply... Lincoln and the employees who sought help died inexplicably, and then the two people inexplicably decided to find the original owner for help,,, (Why do you want to die? Didn't I tell you that people will do anything to survive?) Then in the urban area, cars, flying cars, and helicopters were all dispatched, super large battles, and the destruction effect was first-class, but what did the police do? ,,, I'm afraid it's just to go through the motions. Then there was the scene where the company sign fell from the roof. I wondered why I didn't jump out of the car when I was in the building. Then, after I fell, God didn't die, so I could only laugh. Then there is the inexplicable characterization of the original owner Lincoln, which looks very awkward. In the end, they decided to go back to rescue the other clones. It seems that the two people's methods were deliberately not so sophisticated, but they looked inexplicably stupid... Then the agents helped them inexplicably... Am I the only one who thinks this turn is abrupt, although I made some foreshadowing in the previous dialogue with the senior management, but maybe it was too unexpected and boring?
