The first is the change that Disney's dad made. First, the title music was changed, and the old main title was useless. Even Rogue One, which didn't talk about the main story before, didn't use the old main title, but it still used the motivation at the beginning and made a revision. Completely abandoned this one.
The second is still the opening, the classic vertical scrolling subtitles are gone, just use a short three sentences to say where han came from, and after the subtitles are over, there is no scene from the stars to a certain planet.
The third is the characters. Except for Han and Chewbacca, they should all be new characters (or old characters but I don't know them). The two protagonists, Khan and Chewbacca, also focused on who they were, and then what happened. Come together, even if you haven't seen the old Star Wars before, it doesn't affect the viewing.
The fourth is the role of Khan. This time, Khan did not completely follow Harrison Ford's pretentious line. The character design is more in line with the current aesthetic, which is much more pleasing than Harrison Ford's Khan. But this may be the main reason for the dissatisfaction of foreign Star Wars fans. But to be honest, I have never liked the old version of Khan Solo, so I really like this new version of the character design.
After talking about the change, talk about the film itself.
The advantage is that Han drives the Millennium Falcon to the refinery in the design of the action scene. I don't know if it's because Ron Howard was hired as the director. This action scene is the best action scene in the Star Wars movie.
Secondly, in the tough battle after joining the empire, Han also broke away from the image of the white soldier who was clean and could never hit anyone before, and became flesh and blood, which was a gratifying breakthrough.
Then there is the plot design of lando and l3. This plot has a leftist tone, a hilarious black aunt-like action and line design, some people's feelings with ai, and finally there is a fusion of l3 and the Millennium Falcon.
The downside is that qira's plot is a bit inexplicable. I don't know if I deliberately left a lot of things in preparation for the next movie, but it's annoying that this attitude has been changing and ambiguous.
In the end, this movie made a spectacle. Usually, this kind of fan-oriented movie usually gets me the most ratings when it is first released, because the first time I watched it was the Tiefeng District, and all the ratings were generally high and slow. Slowly, as ordinary moviegoers watch more and more, the score will gradually decrease. For example, the imdb score will be 8 on the day of the release, and it will generally drop by nearly one point after the release. However, because Disney's father took the initiative to abandon and wave goodbye to the past, it caused great dissatisfaction among many Star Wars fans. Before the release, the imdb score had been as low as 6.4 points, and then it rose to 7 points on the day of release. As I write this, it has slowly risen to 7.2. . . I don’t know how much the final score will be. In addition, since the first weekend is not over yet, I don’t know how the foreign box office will be, but no matter what, I still hope that there will be a better way for Disney’s father to take the initiative to seek changes and make breakthroughs. Or at least an acceptable result. After all, it is impossible to progress without letting go of old things.
