It's been a long time since I saw a movie that I liked or even liked very much. North by Northwest is the former, not to mention this is a drama film with such a long history (ps. I like to call it a drama film)
The first 40 minutes of the plot was great and tight, (especially when I watched the ending of Chang'an Twelve Hours), it seemed to throw me into a huge mystery, one thing after another, and the plot forced you to go Before, while much of the plot was to be expected, such openings were often satisfying. The part that makes people a little regretful is that the film technology at that time was not very developed, which led to today's accustomed to high-tech, some places look a bit awkward, but that also happens to be an advantage, making you feel that everything is just right, I I can't imagine what this movie could have been like with today's technology. (maybe it will be destroyed)
On the emotional line, I naively thought that the heroine really liked the hero at first, but I was always confused: there really is such a thing, I have to say that I was really brought into the plot for a while However, the method of reversing it into an undercover later seems to be a little out of my liking. As an undercover, the heroine seems to be at the mercy of others, without the witty undercover strength (perhaps the undercover protagonist in other movies has too much halo. )
The ending is relatively general. It seems that most action dramas end like this. Not many movies have endings that impress me very deeply. (Anyway, it's a good movie)
