Like a dream, a visual feast

Before watching it, I thought it was about Victor Hugo haha.
Fantastic scenes and images bring people back to the industrial age, with steam and gears moving.
The appearance and acting skills of the male protagonist and the little boy are convincing. The plot is also quite inspiring. The ending is all happy.
Because of the drastic changes in the times, the old man's movies are getting colder day by day, and the old man is decadent. If he changed his mind, I think the movie would still sell well.

IMDB is crazy! Such unconvincing and unimaginative plots coupled with movie feelings will buy you off, disappointed!

Hugo quotes

  • Isabelle: There's nothing wrong with crying. Sydney Carton cries. And Heathcliff, too. In books, they're crying all the time.

  • Isabelle: Come on.

Hugo Cabret: Where are we going?

Isabelle: Only to the most wonderful place on earth. It's Neverland and Oz and Treasure Island all wrapped into one.
