I really can't bear to give such a low score, I can only praise the actors, costumes, and scenes. As a bean friend said, there is no nutrition and no logic. I really feel that the story is too blunt, and the clever Asa has acted in an old fashion to match the plot. At the beginning, I also wondered whether the handsome boy and the beauty were brothers and sisters who had been separated for many years, whether Merrier was Hugo's grandfather, and regretted preventing Hugo's father and mother from reuniting back then, and so on. No, not all. Hugo himself said that he didn't like machinery, and he didn't have much interaction with Merrier. At the end, he was asked to play magic... The film did not explain what friendship or big movie fans Hugo's father and Merrier were. What a duty to protect the ugly robot in that museum. This film is playing the card of warmth, and it is suspected of using the method of Amelia, but this unconnected logic makes me unable to pretend to be innocent and give a high score, and I can't persuade and move the reason. I can only steal from my teachers and friends. It turns out that this is saying that war destroys people's body and mind and breaks people's self-confidence.
However, people who have seen Merrier's films seem to be applauding. Maybe I haven't reached the age and mentality to understand it. At present, I can only regret to say that if this film is to pay tribute to the master, I am afraid it is a wrong story. Don't be sad.
