This Apatou Gang’s work was very interesting when I saw the trailer. I didn’t expect it to be another comedy that focused all the laughs in the trailer. The rest is nothing but cheap.
The first time I saw someone taking shit so seriously, I could even taste the pineapple flavor in it, but this is by no means the most disgusting passage in the film. It can be regarded as innovation, the most disgusting part of the film has nothing to do with poop, but Michael Cera anointing the high priest! Adding the sticking on Michael Cera's hands at the back is simply speechless... and compared to the neuropathy who chased people for circumcision, the eunuch who carried the egg with him was the climax of the film's joke. Probably I am ignorant. It turns out that there are "eunuchs" in foreign countries ==!
Looking at the whole film, I didn't think there were many funny things, but I felt awkward. Is it due to cultural differences? Just look at the 5.1 score on IMDB to know that it won't be the main reason. Watching Oliver Platt, Hank Azaria, Xander Berkeley, these big men who are always serious in American dramas, make a fool of yourself in this movie, it feels not funny, but sad. As for Jack Black, he is no longer saved. As the saying goes, "The cheapest man is invincible." Just look at his ability to fart while saying lines in the end of the movie. You know that this buddy has no worries about being a human being, so he just More suitable for this kind of film full of low-level jokes. I am a little worried about Michael Cera. This kid has followed people like Jack Black since he was a child. What will he become when he grows up? In fact, youth comedy has greater restrictions on the age of actors than youth idol dramas. It is better to learn Seth Rogen as soon as possible and transform as soon as possible.
