My rating for The Simpsons : Very
funny, absolutely hilarious, and if you can't even laugh while watching, you're absolutely a boring dude with no sense of humour.
I watched the movie version, and I also watched some TV series. I think the movie version should be the essence of the TV series. If you watch the movie version and then watch the TV series, you may feel that the rhythm is slower, so you might as well watch it. The movie version came directly, with more baggage and faster.
In addition, I watched the Taiwanese dubbed version, and of course there are subtitles, but although the subtitles and the dubbing have the same meaning, the specific expressions are different. I feel that the Taiwanese mandarin dubbed version has some processing on the basis of the original English dialogue, especially the use of some popular spoken languages, so the funny effect is much better than the Chinese subtitles directly translated from English!
As for the plot, see for yourself. From my personal experience, any art that can make you laugh out loud must be based on a deep understanding of the world, and then expressed through exaggerated, straightforward, obscure, or ironic techniques. Therefore, if you can't understand something other than funny from your laughter, you can only blame yourself for your poor understanding!
I personally think the funniest part is the conversation between the minister and the staff,
(the minister asked to mobilize troops to besiege the city of Springfield)
Minister: I want 10,000 hunks, and I want 10,000 rookies to make hunk look like more fierce. Let them rank them in order, macho, macho, rookie, macho, rookie, rookie, macho, macho, rookie, rookie, macho, rookie...
Staff: Minister, you shouldn't be crazy about power, right?
Minister: Needless to say, have you ever seen a lunatic without power? Very poor, even the dog ignored.
Which passage do you think impressed you the most?
