Good story, bad filming

Although I haven't read the original book, I can imagine that the reasoning of the whole story should be very exciting. Being able to finally overturn all the evidence to overturn the case when all the evidence points to the suspect is just as wonderful as Li Changyu overturning the Simpson murder case back then. But the whole reasoning process is broken.
The director is Tom, who is more suitable for action movies, not suitable for directing this reasoning and action drama. There are many clues in the film, such as why did Emerson help Qu Ke? He only said you'll see to the lawyer. Then why in the end, I didn't see it at all. Also, is the interest relationship between the bad guys and the dead only as simple as that one factory? How could they be stupid enough to use that company's car to follow Jack? A lot of places can't stand up to scrutiny. What's even more funny is that when Jack was beaten for the first time, the two people who beat him were so funny! Was the director trying to inject comedy into the film, or was the director trying to keep Jack from getting knocked out so quickly? And Jack has been an agent for so many years, why does he not know why someone appeared behind him? Such a skill can still walk in the rivers and lakes for many years without being hurt? This hero is too mediocre.
All in all, this is the worst action movie I've ever seen. He should really put down action films and make more emotional films like Vanilla Sky to broaden his acting career, so that he can win the Golden Man! In the eye-opening, the difference in acting between him and Nicole Kidman is very obvious. Nicole Kidman deserves to be an Oscar winner. The characters are brought to life. But on the other hand, Tom is much inferior.
Anyway, I still like him very much, his smile is so charming!

Jack Reacher quotes

  • [from trailer]

Jack Reacher: You think I'm a hero? I am not a hero. And if you're smart, that scares you. Because I have nothing to lose.

  • Jeb: Hey. Outside.

Jack Reacher: Pay your check first.

    Jeb: I'll pay later.

Jack Reacher: You won't be able to.
