I've forgotten how Brave Island got into my list of pretentious films. This is a very visual movie. When I saw the scene of the classic Ferrari F355 chasing the Hummer H1 That's what I thought at the time. However, after seeing the second half, I know why I chose this movie. I can imagine how excitedly the men and women of the '90s were picking this movie as their date movie, but that doesn't stop it from telling us something that could be called a truth or a question. Summarized in three words: Loyalty, Courage and Justice. At first glance, it sounds like a cliché, but in addition to the hurricane in the downtown area, the explosion that overturned the roof and the flying bullet casings, we can also see that in order to get justice for the soldiers who have been betrayed by the state, they go to extremes and finally rein in their horses. The general, the rookie detective who fought to the death to protect his lover and the innocent, the old cannon who seems to be confused by the devil but can't let go of the male protagonist, every character is a living person, and these living people nakedly interpret the world, Government, country... all kinds of ghosts and ghosts. I am a person who likes visual enjoyment, and I am also a critic who likes to explore the social depth of works. I have to say that this movie satisfies me in both aspects.
