This is a movie without good or bad in the traditional sense. Except for two or three mercenaries for money, the rest are all working hard for the persistence in their hearts. The story of 007 and Bang Boy fighting the Marines on the island that used to be a prison. In order to seek justice for the deceased comrades and their families who had no pensions, the medal-filled general gave up his promising future, seized gas bombs, took hostages, and occupied Alcatraz with the intention of admonishing soldiers. It is a pity that he was too kind and could not bear to harm civilians, and was killed by his greedy men. The FBI chemical weapons expert and rookie agent endured fear and lurked on the island, did not give up, shot, fought hand-to-hand, and finally solved the crisis. 007 was imprisoned for 30 years and refused to reveal his secrets. He was temporarily released from prison to assist him in landing on the island. He tried to escape several times. Blurred and finally escaped.
In fact, there are not many exciting action scenes. Connery escaped from the hotel in a car chase, as well as the final underground pipeline battle and a few hand-to-hand fights. But the director's editing and control are very good, the suspense is repeated, the climax is repeated, and people can't stop.
I'm not a soldier, and I don't understand the so-called honor and discipline, but the Marines and contingents in it are basically model soldiers.
