I love this movie!
Starting from the one-meter-three-story office, I realized that the story was like a strange dream. The kind you must have experienced, although the frame is the real world, but there are all kinds of unreasonable dreams, but it feels extremely natural to be in it. If these unreasonable things can appear in dreams, they can also appear in movies.
When I saw one third, I felt that the plot was full of metaphors, and when I saw two thirds, I began to doubt. After reading it, my biggest impression was conflicting. Self and others, sex and morality, winner-take-all, youth and aging, compromise and persistence...
Relatively dislike the last part of Lester's explanation, the screenwriter seems to suddenly realize that something is going too far and try to rationalize the plot. I prefer it all to keep the original chaos and evil, after all the real world has never lost to the human imagination in chaos and evil.
Anyway, love this movie, MalkovichMalkovichMalkovich!
Btw found that Xie Qiang marked it ten years ago, and it is still five stars hhhh
