The puppeteer stumbles upon a passageway that could become a celebrity Markovic on the 7 1/2 floor. In order to gain the love of his beloved, he was willing to take Markovic's skin and discard himself forever. It seems that he has manipulated Markovic, but he is manipulated by his beloved.

After experiencing being Malkovich, the puppeteer's wife discovers the side she wants to be male.

The puppet master's boss actually discovered this magical passage long ago. Continue to gain immortality through the channel.

And Markovic himself, through the channel of being himself, discovers that everyone in his life is himself, and is horrified to project his narcissistic self.
